Home at Last - Bravo!!

I'm pinching myself to make sure I'm not dreaming but they are home. Arrived in Richmond this morning at 8:48 am - very weary, but extremely elated travelers - so happy to be back in their hometown with the two newest United States citizens, Austin and Logan - Happy 4th of July!!

They were able to find a hotel room last night but only managed to get about 4 hours sleep before they had to be up and back at the Charlotte airport for their 7:45 am flight to Richmond.

So, their journey has come full circle and this Grandma is one happy lady - so is Granddaddy - we have two of the most precious grandsons imaginable. They are ready with a grin and a smile for everyone they meet, and in an instant, wrapped us all around their tiny little fingers. What fun-filled days await us with those two - the adventure begins.

I also would like to add how proud I am of Mason and Evan, who handled the responsibilities of being home by themselves magnificently. In addition to working, they cleaned the house, washed all the dirty dishes, did the laundry, cut the grass, and washed Donna's car & filled it with gas. Now, that's something to brag about - how many young men their age would have taken care of things so well?? They are two fine young men, and we're so happy to be their grandparents.

I'm sure once Donna has caught her breath and gotten a little rest, she will be posting all about her experience the last 3 weeks and letting you know how remarkable her newest additions are.

I've enjoyed my little blogger experience and wish all of you well in your own personal "journeys" to bring home your babies/children. God Bless You and we will keep you in our prayers constantly.
