Vacation!
Happy To Get Awayyyyyyyyyy
(You should be singing that!)
;-)
We just returned from a fab-U-lous week at the beach!
Don't we all look like happy, beautiful people?
In the line-up:
Mason and Lory, my brother Mitch, his better half, Patsy and her son Frankie,
Nonnie, Gary, moi, Evan and Amanda
Frick and Frack
(a.k.a Austin and Logan)
;-)
Poor little Austin gets minor car-sickness, and both boys do NOT stop asking, "Are we there yet? How much longer?" Despite all the toys/movies and games we had within their reach, nothing occupied them longer than 3 seconds. The 3 hour car ride seemed like 10. Not. Even. Kidding.
However - once there!
The Fun, FUN, FUN began!
The boys discovered they can "carry" each other in the water!
Austin clearly is happy!
Frankie tosses Logan!
Daddy tosses Logan
Daddy tosses Austin
Mid-air high-five!
Logan serious about his battle!
Austin
Happy Logan!
Mason and Austin!
Mitch and Logan
Logan, Austin, and Evan!
Chicken Fight!
Austin celebrating his victory!
We are so, so, SO blessed to have so many brothers and uncles to play with the boys!
And can you believe with ALL this play, ALL this pooltime, ALL this sun,
that the boys remained in non-cranky mode most of the week and in high spirits
and high-energy 90% of the time (not that the adults did!).
The boys stayed up late, woke up early every day and only took
one mid-week 20 minute nap!
Of course, they crashed hard for 2 1/2 hours on the way home
(making for a much easier trip for Mommy and Daddy!)
More pics to come!

Can't way to see more pictures, the boys are just so darn cute!!!
I have loved all the pictures, and seeing the joy on everyone's faces.
Sorry about the car ride..........that can be not fun!!
Such fantastic pictures of what looks to have been an AMAZING time!
Can hardly wait to see more. :)
(We've got a motion sickness beset twin, too. Yay, Dramamine...)
It looks like you all had SO much fun!!!! The family pic at the beginning is gorgeous...maybe you should use that for your Christmas cards this year!!
I love that you referred to the boys as Frick and Frack!!!
Awwww. So fun! That is so great you got everyone together like that. The twins looked like they had a great time with all the men to play with.
I love the beach. And, it looks like the Outer Banks to me. Is it? We go in about 3 weeks for our annual trip with Mark's family and that made me think of you.
Nonnie looks great in the other post - armed and dangerous! Tell her Grace said hi!
