Shopping for babies!

Well, I’ve waited SO many years to finally to be able to shop for baby clothes and I let LOOSE this weekend!! Grandma and I spent a mint at Gymboree, then on Saturday – I went back to the mall and went to Gymboree, Old Navy and Macy’s – Gary and I picked out an amazing outfit for the boys (I had high hopes of not dressing them alike, but it is just TOO hard to "coordinate" and SO easy to "match') to wear next spring (it’s a little hard figuring what sizes, but we guessed). We thought it was the cutest outfit in the store. However, when we got home, Mason and Evan thought it was the dorkiest thing they have ever seen!! They hit the floor laughing at us! If they had their way, they would dress them in Nike and athletic stuff ALL the time. I have a feeling that’s what they'll like, too!! Just so they can be like their older brothers!

Updated to add what i wrote in my journal this day:

Boy – we should wish you could be here with us! I went shopping this weekend for you – I’ve waited 38 years to shop my babies clothes and I let LOOSE!! Grandma and I spent a mint at Gymboree, then on Saturday – I went back to the mall and went To Gymboree, Old Navy and Macy’s – Daddy and I picked out an amazing outfit for you two to wear next spring (it’s a little hard figuring what sizes you’ll be then. We thought it was the cutest outfit in the store. However, when we got home, Mason and Evan thought it was thedorkiest thing they have ever seen!! If they had their way, they would dress you guys in nike and athletic stuff ALL the time. I have a feeling that’s what you two might like, too!! Just so you can be like your older brothers!

Did I tell you I met twin girls from Guatemala? Well, somebody else (up in PA) is adopting little girls, I think Olivia and Sophia?? They were July 1, I think.

And Sesame street is still wondering if you’ll be able to play with them? What do you think? I have no idea if that’s something you’ll enjoy. I of course would love to show you off to the world, but firlst need to make sure you’re okay and adjusted here first before we throw you into anything glike that.

I worry about that, you know – how you two will do adjusting to us, to new family. It causes me muchpain, knowing that we have to take you away from all that you’re familiar with and used to and love, I wish I could have been there from the start. I promise, we will love you, love you, love you’re whole life.
